This year again you have pledged to quit smoking (just like every year), but do you again want to just break the resolution or stick to it? Potato chips, different types of salty candies or whatever that contains salt will work out here. Salt is known to curb the craving for smoke. So, whenever the desire to smoke overpowers you, you should eat something salty or lick a little salt with the tip of your tongue.

- Make sure you avoid alcohol, caffeine, and non-veg (including eggs) when you are attempting to quit smoking as these items only increase your craving for nicotine.
